Hello Blog World !

Today marks a celebratorious moment in Occasion Hawaii's history! After being resistant to having a blog, I have finally brought down my barriers and said, "Let's Have A Blog". We were so used to doing newsletters that were sent out 4x year to our subscribers... but we were only limited again, to our subscribers! So Blog World... Here we come! Keep posted on updates, thoughts, and ideas that may just randomly come our way. It's a new year... 2009, that is... and we're doing this year right.

Congratuations to all you newly weds out there and for the newly engaged . There's more to come considering Valentine's Day is around the corner. So don't forget to make that special someone feel like the most WONDERFUL person in the world. You don't have to send her (or him =) 1-2 dozen roses sold at highly inflated prices.... Try writing a letter, sending a card, singing a song, cooking a homemade dinner, or even just ordering out and pretend like you cooked it. With the way our ecomomy is like right now, I know many people are price conscious about things. So it's time to get creative!Remember, it's really the thought that counts!

Just some updates on what is to come... February also marks the opening of our brand new sister company, "Buttercream Weddings", which targets economical, local brides who just wants a professional to take care of all the last minute details without spending the "wedding planner" fortune.... We heard you!!! So what we did is create a new company that's consists of the best and most experienced coordinators (trained by Occasions,LLC of course!) in town to take care of all your wedding day needs.
